    CCAC North Campus student receives Honorable Mention award from Associated Collegiate Press
    CCAC North Campus student Charles DeMore II was nominated for a 2017 Cartooning Award from the Associated Collegiate Press (ACP). He received an Honorable Mention for his comic strip, “Bad Jokes,” which has appeared in The Voice student newspaper since 2015.

    Uber, CCAC partner to give drivers $500 toward tuition, books
    New tuition incentive program from Uber and CCAC helps drivers take college classes
    Uber and the Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC) announced today a new pilot program to expand educational opportunities for Uber driver-partners in the Greater Pittsburgh area. In the upcoming Spring and Summer 2018 semesters, qualifying drivers will each have access to $500 in financial incentives, applicable toward tuition, fees, and textbooks for courses at CCAC.
    CCAC North Campus to launch free shuttle service for students in the Perry Highway corridor
    The Community College of Allegheny County’s North Campus will offer a free shuttle service beginning in the spring 2018 semester to CCAC students along the Perry Highway corridor, north of West View. The campus is located in an area not directly served by the Port Authority. The shuttle will provide a connection to Port Authority resources, improving the quality of life and economic development for residents, businesses, nonprofits and others
