    CCAC to celebrate American Heart Month at The Mall at Robinson on February 24
    Heart disease is the leading cause of death for both men and women. To help prevent heart disease and increase awareness of its effects, the Community College of Allegheny County is proudly participating in American Heart Month by hosting “CCAC Loves Your Heart!” at The Mall at Robinson on Saturday, February 24. Activities will run from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Grand Court near Starbucks.

    Project Management Boot Camp Certification Program
    CCAC's Workforce Development will offer our tenth cohort of Project Management Boot Camp. The certification prep course includes all knowledge areas, including the new Agile topics for 2018. Prepare to sit for the PMP® certification exam in just 6 months and twelve in-class days: every other Saturday.
    CCAC to launch One College, One Community Reads! literary initiative on Tuesday, March 6
    The Community College of Allegheny County will launch One College, One Community Reads! on Tuesday, March 6, at 6:00 p.m. at the CCAC South Campus Auditorium. The public is invited to attend the kickoff of this literary initiative, which is designed to promote reading and open dialogue within the college and the wider community.
    CCAC partners with Northgate School District to offer College in High School program
    The Community College of Allegheny County and the Northgate School District are partnering to offer high school students an opportunity to earn a 30-credit General Education Certificate through the College in High School (CIHS) program, with classes taught onsite at Northgate High School. For an additional cost, students will have the chance to earn a 60-credit associate degree should they wish to pursue more advanced courses.
