    CCAC North Campus chapter of mathematics honor society wins national Pi Day contest
    The Community College of Allegheny County's North Campus chapter of Mu Alpha Theta, the national mathematics honor society for high schools and two-year colleges, has been named the winner of the honor society's Pi Day contest-beating out high schools and community colleges from across the nation. Mu Alpha Theta is dedicated to inspiring a keen interest in mathematics, developing strong scholarship in the subject and promoting the enjoyment of mathematics in students.
    CCAC team to compete in national robotics competition at California University of Pennsylvania
    A team from the Community College of Allegheny County will participate in the National Robotics League competition on May 18 and 19 at California University of Pennsylvania. The team, which is comprised of six students in the college's Mechatronics Technology program at CCAC's West Hills Center, will compete against college and high school teams from across the nation.

    CCAC chapter of international honor society wins numerous awards, shines at convention
    CCAC South Campus and West Hills Center will hold summer camps for youth in grades 1–12
    The Community College of Allegheny County's South Campus and West Hills Center will offer a wide variety of five-day summer camps to help ensure an active, fun and enriching summer for the area's youth. The camps will begin July 9 and are open to students who have completed first through 12th grades. Sessions are held from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 12:45 p.m. to 3:45 p.m., except for SAT Prep, which runs from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
    CCAC student art display opens with awards presentation and musical, theatrical performances
    The public is invited to the opening of C.O.M.P.A.S.S.-collaboration of music | portfolio | arts | student showcase-on Thursday, April 19, in the historic West Hall Cultural and Fine Arts Center on CCAC's Allegheny Campus.
    CCAC to hold ribbon cutting to celebrate the opening of three food pantries on April 23
    The Community College of Allegheny County will celebrate the opening of the Allegheny Campus, North Campus and Homewood-Brushton Center food pantries with a ribbon cutting ceremony at Allegheny Campus on Monday, April 23, at 10:00 a.m. in the Physical Education Building. The pantries are made possible through a partnership with East End Cooperative Ministry (EECM).
    CCAC to hold College Kickstart Day at all campuses and centers on Wednesday, April 18
    The Community College of Allegheny County will host College Kickstart Day at all eight of its locations on Wednesday, April 18, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. CCAC is offering two additional open houses scheduled for Saturday, May 12, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and Wednesday, July 18, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. These free open house events are open to all prospective students, their family members and friends.
